Clinical Team

steveSteven C. Atkins, Psy.D., CSS Clinical Psychologist, is a Certified Clinical Psychologist and school consultant. He holds a doctorate from the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology and an Ed.M. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Dr. Atkins holds an adjunct faculty position at Dartmouth Medical School, where he teaches several systemic courses for the Department of Psychiatry. He also consults with several schools in the Upper Valley and operates a clinical practice that focuses on child, adolescent and family therapies. In addition, he has co-authored several books on parenting strategies which have been published in over six languages. Dr. Atkins serves as a member of the CSS inter-disciplinary team conducting neurodevelopmental assessments for school-aged children. E-Mail

DonnaDonna Smart Isaacs, MA, LD Cert., CSS Senior Learning Specialist, earned her Master’s Degree from Columbia University Teachers College in 1984. She is a certified Orton Gillingham reading instructor and is trained in the Lindamood Bell approaches to reading, writing and math. She worked as a Special Educator for the Lebanon School District in Lebanon, New Hampshire from 1988-2003, specializing in assessment and developing and implementing programs for children with learning differences who are included in regular education classrooms. Ms. Smart is also a Schools Attuned® trained national facilitator. She serves as a member of the CSS inter-disciplinary team conducting neurodevelopmental assessments for school-aged children. MikeMichael Kilcullen, M.D., FAAP, CSS Developmental Pediatrician,is Board Certified in General Pediatrics and Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics. He has been a practicing pediatrician since 1981 and has provided neurodevelopmental evaluations using Dr. Mel Levine's model since 1984. Dr. Kilcullen is the Medical Director at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center Regional Clinic in Woodstock, Vermont. He has a special interest in the learning/behavior problems of childhood and school health. Dr. Kilcullen serves on several state advisory boards. Dr. Kilcullen serves as a member of the CSS inter-disciplinary team conducting neurodevelopmental assessments for school-aged children. E-Mail




DeeDemetra R. LaCrosse, Psy.D., CSS Clinical Psychologist, is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years of experience with children, adolescents, and families. She received her doctorate from Antioch New England Graduate School. Dr. LaCrosse has worked in schools, community mental health, and private clinical practices providing educational and psychological assessments, consultations, and counseling. Dr. LaCrosse serves as a member of the CSS inter-disciplinary assessment team conducting neurodevelopmental assessments for school-aged children. E-Mail

BethElizabeth K. Reed, M.Ed, CSS Senior Learning Specialist, holds a Master's Degree in Early Education from Plymouth State University. Over the last ten years she has worked with students from preschool through adult, as a preschool teacher, child care director, special education learning assistant, teacher and college instructor. Ms. Reed serves as a member of the CSS inter-disciplinary assessment team conducting neurodevelopmental assessments for school-aged children. E-Mail





NanceeNancee Tracy, Ed. M., CSS Clinic Coordinator, earned her Master's Degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She has worked with children, families, teachers, physicians, community providers and state policy-makers and administrators for over 25 years in a variety of educational, medical and community settings. She has also been responsible for managing a number of federal and state funded grant projects to enhance and expand services to NH children and families. In addition, she has provided consulting, training and technical assistance to diverse audiences. E-Mail





Diana Watson, M.Ed., CSS Director of Professional Development, earned her BA and M.Ed. from the University of New Hampshire. She is an educator with over a decade of classroom teaching experience in early elementary grades. Since 2001, her work has expanded to include teacher training. Ms. Watson holds the position of senior facilitator with two national educational organizations: Schools Attuned and National School Reform Faculty. The National School Reform Faculty is a professional development initiative that focuses on developing collegial relationships, encouraging reflective practice, and rethinking leadership in restructuring schools — all in support of increased student achievement. In her role as facilitator, Ms. Watson has worked locally and nationally with both public and private school teachers. E-Mail
Leslie Williamson, BA, CSS Founder and Executive Director, works closely with the Board and staff to make the vision of CSS a reality. Ms. Williamson is a certified secondary school teacher with a BA from the University of Michigan. She is also the Co-Founder and Co-Director of BOAST, Building Our Assets for a Safer Tomorrow (a non-profit organization with the goal of creating a community-wide commitment to the healthy development of all youth using the asset approach). Ms. Williamson has served on the boards of several community organizations (e.g., Upper Valley United Way, Howe Library) and has associations with many different agencies and groups across all sectors of the community.
